View of the Sandia Mountains Rio Rancho real estate market shows continued improvement in almost every measure! My weekly MLS market statistics show continued recovery in residential sales prices and number of houses selling. One and two-year sales price comparisons (based on a 90 day period) are stable or improving, and number of houses selling has improved for the last six weeks. Inventory (the supply of houses for sale) is going down, indicating that there are now more buyers than sellers entering the market. With the government's mortgage assistance program, very low interest rates, pent-up demand and the Summer buying season upon us, this market should continue to recover nicely.

With home prices at historically affordable levels, mortgage rates at historically low levels, abundant inventory to choose from, and government incentives, this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy a home!
